Vacation in Berkshires?

Can someone tell me what the crowd is like in the Berkshires? I am looking to go there for a long weekend with a few girlfriends, and i am wondering if it is an older or younger crowd, etc? Also looking for any suggestions on things to do, spas, theatres, restaurants, boating, etc? thanks!

    The berkshires are beautiful. I’ve found that there are a lot of younger people there (at least in the areas I’ve been to). Shelbourn falls has the glacial pot holes where you can swim, the high ledges, if you drive up you will get a beautiful view and there are walking trails up there. Greenfield is nearby and would probably have more restaurants and spas.
